Comptroller Civilian Career Program (CP11) Training
The Army Comptroller Proponency Office, CP11 has announced several training opportunities available for careerists in the Comptroller and Financial Management Fields.
* TWI - Training with Industry, is a 12-month assignment, five openings available for careerists in the grades GS12-14 who are seeking further professional growth in a TWI assignment. This is a unique opportunity for participants to benchmark Army performance against industry standards and identify areas needing improvement and to be immersed within the industry to understand the internal workings of the industry partners.
* DCP - Defense Comptrollership Program, is a 14-month course of study delivered in two semesters and two summer sessions addressing Defense/Army Comptroller and Financial Management educational needs. The 60 hour graduate curriculum combines business and public administration theories. Students will graduate with a Master of Business Administration and Executive Master of Public Administration degrees.
DCP is open to GS9 thru GS12 and Pay Band 1/2 employees registered in the Comptroller Civilian Career Program (CP11).
* DMBAFMP - Defense Masters In Business Administration in Financial Management Program, is an 18-month course of study delivered in six quarter sessions addressing Defense/Army Financial Management educational needs. The 96 hour graduate curriculum combines financial management and business administration theories, principles and concepts with Defense and Army resource and financial management processes and practices. DMBAFMP is open to Army GS 11-13/Pay Band 2 employees registered in the Comptroller Civilian Career Program (CP11).
* MMML - Masters of Managerial Logistics degree program at North Dakota State University solicits nominations for the class to commence 4 August 2009 and end 5 August 2010. The MML degree program is open to all career fields and career programs with a target audience of DA Civilians, GS 11-13/Pay Band 2 and Military Officers, Captain to Major. The MML is a professional degree program that offers a unique curriculum with emphasis on joint military logistics and transportation.
